Sevilla is one of the most amazing cities on the world. For the first time I vistit this beautiful city in November 2012, I spent there only few hours waiting for my train to Valencia but it was definitely love of the first sight. I came to Sevilla from Ronda (about this place in another post) and I had few hours to my train to Valencia. I left my luggage at the bust station Prado de San Sebastian and went to Plaza de España. I think that most of us will agree with me that this place is amazing! I haven't seen anything like that before, I was enchanted.
The Plaza de España was built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. It is a example of the Regionalism Architecture, mixing elements of the Renaissance Revival and Moorish Revival (Neo-Mudéjar) styles of Spanish architecture. I love every spot, every element of this place! The Spanish Square is a part of Parque de María Luisa which is also amazing with all beautiful and different fountains, flowers, trees and place to seats. In Seville there is much more to see, but during my first visit I spent this few hours only there. I just took a book, and I sat on the bench and I enjoyed every moment. The weather was amazing, almost 30 Celsius degrees, in November! Time stops for me in this place for few hours, and it was unbelivible experience for me which I will remember to the end of my life.
My first experience with Sevilla was short but very memorable, that's why I decided to visit Sevilla and Andalucia every year in winter. Since 2013 I was there every year in November and once in December and I will continue this resolve for next years.
